Thanks Guys for the publicity!
Thanks for highlighting our new Rotisseries. While self cleaning ovens of this sort are not new, Combi ovens(steam, heat or combination of both) have been self cleaning for many years. This is a new twist on an older concept. We have installed a few of them in the Orlando Area and they have been well received. Literally a dishwasher inside an oven but customers who have gotten used to them seem to really love them. Sure beats cleaning all that mess out of them and take it from me, if they do it right and as recommended, they will not have the grease buildup and cooking issues endemic in any manufacturer's rotisserie ovens. It is truly amazing what you come across in the field.
It is always fun when they call and say the oven caught fire
or it smoked out the deli!
We teach them on the initial install how to disassemble the standard rotiserries to keep them clean but they seem to forget they need to be cleaned as soon as they load in the first batch of chickens.
And Yes, Andrew, I thought the same thing when I saw the "KA" model designation.
There is actually one right in your backyard too.. Mayflower Retirement has a brand new one. Took a few tries for them to understand the washing system and time/cycle requirements, but now they have it down pat and the food service director loves it and says the employees do too.
Lookeds spotless inside when I was there last week.
