I went out on the by-pass to go to my credit union and while out there I stopped in at a sewing machine repair business to purchase a bottle of sewing machine oil. The old gentleman used to run our Singer Sewing Center so it's always nostalgic to see him. He's in his late 70's. He commented that I sure buy a lot of sewing machine oil and I told him yes I have lately and most of it has been used lubricating the teeth of the big commercial paper shredder we have a work. We shred so much that the blades and or gears start screeching. A good squirt across the teeth and it stops. He then commented he remembered when a small can of oil was 29 cents. I told him that was a long time ago! lolll

I like zoom spout sewing machine oil. It's much purer than wd40, etc, and pretty inexpensive. I like new uses for stuff too. I'm going to try it in my shredder when it starts to dog from the pile that stacks up on top of it, so you have to spend a half hour shredding. Lol
