Since this house has a 70s floor and wallpaper in the kitchen. And since I didn't like the stove that was in here. I had Donald move my 73 Frigidaire in. This belonged to a favorite neighbor and I remember when she got new. I have eaten a lot of fantastic food off of this stove. I took these while frying a pan of apples and had just taken out a pineapple casserole for Thanksgiving

Love that Avocado. I love Frigidaire Ranges.

I enjoy the Radiant Tubes as well and those Ovens bake wonderfully.

I was taught by my Grandmother on a Frigidaire.

Enjoy that Stove. Nice it has sentimental thoughts to go with it.

Oh, and Nice KitchenAid too

Love Frigidaire Stoves

I love Frigidaire appliances, and in particular, their stoves. once you got used to the slightly slower reaction time, of the burners, due to the thickness of the coils, they were a dream to cook on. The ovens were fantastic.

Hugs,
David

I was still working at the appliance store and attending San Jose State when that range was new. All the Frigidaire cooking appliances had such a nice quality look and feel to them...nothing tinny. The touch control 30" in poppy from that same era was my favorite. Those were good, fun times.

Nice to see the Frigidaire in use. I like the small appliances too, esp that Hamilton Beach, never seen one around here.

That salt and pepper shaker set reminds me of a set my parents have, at least the caps do.

before this range

Bertha had a 52 Thrifty Thirty and a 39 Frigidaire fridge, her great niece has the 39 and it has never had a repair, I drank many glasses of iced tea out of it as a kid

Frigidaire ranges...

of that vintage are really well built and work great, we love ours! The GEs of the '70s cook and bake really well too, but don't have the solid feel of a Frigidaire from that era. Love that floor too! ... NOBODY makes patterns like that anymore!

I have that identical dishwasher

Which I have nicknamed "The Blaster".
We have loads of dishes every Thanksgiving as both sides of the family come to our house. Years ago we bought a boatload of commercial-grade plates as the house is filled during the holidays. Fortunately we have a restaurant-supply store two blocks away.
Anyway, half the dishes go into the brand-new Miele upstairs and half go into the old Kitchenaid in the basement.
The Miele does an incredible job and is crazy-quiet. It was a shock to go downstairs to check on the dishes and then hear the virtual tsunami hitting the dishes in the Kitchenaid.
The new Miele cleans dishes with grace, the vintage Kitchenaid - with brawn.
