Wish I could have taken a pic at my grandmas.

My grandma just had a new Frigidaire dishwasher installed a few weeks ago. Its a really sleek looking satin metal finish, and the controls are on the top of the door, rather than the front. I really like this machine, but dont know how well it performs really. My grandmother just loves it though!

Ah, the ease of lower rack loading when there's no tower to accommodate. One of these days I may be able experience that again.

I crammed as much as I could into my partner's daughter's cheapo BOL plastic tub Whirlpool which has to be at least 20 years old. It's as lousy a system as the 1990 Motley Maytag it resembles and I wasn't happy with what I did with the lower rack, but I crammed the upper rack full. I drew comments about my packing skills. No pix. They would have thought I was really weird if I had pulled my camera out to document it.

LOL, yeah, I don't miss the tower in the old reverse rack Maytag.

Forgot to mention that I used the "Light Wash" cycle on the KDS-19. As you can tell, the dishes weren't all that dirty and the food remnants were only a few hours old.
