Has anyone seen the episode of the new TV series Sliced in which they cut things apart on History Channel? I saw the episode in which they cut open a garbage disposal,an induction stove & two refrigerators.

Mostly they use handheld power tools but some non-handheld power tools as well. About every power tool you could imagine such as Dremel tools, saws with diamond blades, etc, they used them to cut things apart. just search for sliced with history channel added to the search subject or use this link-
http://www.history.com/shows/sliced The episode I mentioned is titled Confidential Kitchen.

I watched that episode. I watched the one previous to it as well. I think the host appeals to youngsters who are in to the "shoot em up" video games. I thought he was more than obnoxious.
He's probably trying to reach the skater crowd.

He does do a good job explaining how things work though. I watched him slice up that induction stove. However he never mentioned that it was an induction stove, he just kept calling it a electric stove.

Personally, I liked the guy on "The Way Things Work" much better.

induction

He did say it was induction. He had gas, electric and induction.

He even talked about how induction worked.
