I have never understood how best to use one of these. You would need at least two people if you washed in both tubs, one to do the rinsing in the set tubs and one to do the hanging up. It seems like you could get backed up on rinsing since the machine could wash two loads at once but only one load could be rinsed at a time unless you had two helpers for rinsing, but arranging rinse tubs around this machine would be difficult with the wringer between two of the tubs. If you washed in one and rinsed in the other, you would have to do at least one change of rinse water for each load after wringing them out, emptying and refilling the tub then putting them back in for the second agitated rinse. I guess if you needed a double tub washer, you either had enough kids to help with the laundry or could afford staff otherwise this machine would wear you out even faster than a regular wringer washer.
