We have a 9 year old Maytag QuietSeries 300 dishwasher and the gasket has become very soft and mushy on the end nearest the tub. There are no leaks, but lots of black marking on the door which gets worse when wiped.
Is it worth trying to replace the gasket? Is the process difficult? The machine still works well, but is showing it's age.
