Some Beautiful Twin Cities Laundromats

Operated by Steve and Deb, I have met them and they are nice people. I have used Metro Coin Laundry and Burnsville Laundromat. This couple are great laundry operators and have wonderful stores. Here is a link to their laundromats.

They are beautiful laundromats---nice, inviting atmospheres. And it looks they use an all front-load format at their stores. Tell Steve and Deb the AW crowd gives their laundromats a big thumbs-up!

I noticed the Metro Coin location is on Highway 13. Years ago, I used to go to a place called the "Wash Hut & Tan" on Hwy 13 in Savage. Always thought that was a funny combination: Tan while you do your laundry![this post was last edited: 4/20/2013-06:49]

Now THOSE are laundromats! I wish the one I frequent here in Springfield looked half as good.

I didn't see any, but are any of them equipped with top loading washers?

Yes I remember Wash Hut and Tan. This space later became Metro Coin Laundry before it moved to the current location. There is now a Laundromat there called Speed-O-Mat it is Ipso equipped.

Ironically both Metro Coin Laundry and Burnsville Laundromat are in former locations of the Affordable Maytag appliance store. I know Mark Kramer of Affordable MT very well. He is now just doing service work and calls his shop Affordable Marktag.

Steve and Deb do use all FL formats. With the Utility costs and SAC charges TL machines are not economical for laundromat use anymore. Large Commercial FL washers also will outwash and outrinse ANY toploader and have fewer repairs.
