French Skip Black Velvet Liquid,

Really rating this stuff over Persil Liquigel at the minute, it is indeed the old Formula of Persil Black Velvet for the french market and is in a bigger bottle for more washes.

Best of all it cost me 50p yes 50p a bottle from a household and beauty stall in Chester Market Hall.

Better than the Bojack Polish Ariel Powder I got a coupla weeks ago from a cheap shop! using 500ml on very lightly soiled and I mean very lighly soiled washing with no suds whatsoever and a clear first rinse. ALthough it does have that old Ariel scent that Ariel Automatic powder of the 80s/ealy 90s had. SO it wasnt all bad!

Anyway back to the Skip, smells great almost like the old Colour Liquid when that was a creme.
And I dont mind using it on 30*c for coloured t shirts and stuff, cleans and rinses great!

Sorry they are bad quality, somehow buggered my camera up and its light sensor is not working for some reason, of course being Sony the instruction book is not clear on how to combat the problem!
Grrrr LOL!

Plenty of Water on this cycle

Water Level for this wash, THe Synthetics programme on this LG is almost a mimic to cycle 5 on a Hotpoint, just slightly longer.

1 hr 18

25 minute wash at cold/30/40 or 35 mins when 60*c selected.

Rinse kicks in at 53 mins after wash water drain and spin.

then 9 minute rinses iuncluding interim spins of 800

Final spin when 1200rpm selected is the 13 min cotton spin, profile spin for 6 mins to 800rpm, then final 6 mins at 1200rpm.

Lower than 1200rpm spin speeds deduct approx 3 mins from the total 13 mins for each spin speed variant.

Its a shame on the cottons washes that the water level is so low it dosnt get much clean even with its boisterous tumbles. Im confused as to how this machine got A rated for wash to be honest. Add a full load of washing and select COttons/95deg/1200rpm and the total time is 1hr 30? almost always have to select Intensive which takes it up to 2 hours exactly.

Care...

It's a pity that your pictures are so dark, nevertheless I notice some intriguing programs on your machine: "baby care", "medic care" and most interesting: "boiling care". How do they differ from normal 95C cotton wash?

by the way,
bought some Omo the other day, supposed to be the same as Persil in the UK.
I like it, it gets whites white and cleans well, its just the aussie version has such a strong scent and i'm not fond of it, its very full on.
Match the 'Splat' logo to the one on the Skip bottle, almost the same eh? :)
