Speed Queen compatible fill valves

I am looking for a new fill valve which will fit a 2013 Speed Queen, but have a faster fill rate and a 50/50 mix would be fine by me. I am looking to replace the current fill valve in my Queen since it fills WAY to slow on the hot and the cold could be faster.

And before I do this- just how fast can a Speed Queen funnel fill before splashing or dripping?

Generally...

In looking through a couple of parts manuals, the general fill valve seems to operate at 5.5 GPM. The Alliance branded units don't have a flow rate associated with them. Unpublished.

Some valves have a flow rate restriction washer in the outbound port. Have you examines the SQ unit to see if they have one? Maybe it could be removed.

I wonder if modifying the flow rate would shorten the life of the valve... any thoughts?

The pressure on the valve could be a little higher if you remove the flow retrictors, thus opening&#92closing could be a little more strain, though I doubt that would make much of a difference in total...

I don't believe these have a removable restrictor- and none inline that I can see.
