Every year there is a huge Chrysler (and AMC is invited too!) car show in Van Nuys, California. I always seem to miss it, have never gone.

This time, I just happened to find out accidently that it started today! So I grabbed by 12 year old son and off we went.

The event was interesting (aside from one smart alec guy you really p-d me off) and there was a HUGE amount of Mopars there.

I was amazed to see a Hemi Charger Daytona there, not roped off (I don't think they allow that anyways, but it was odd that it was out in the open) which has to be worth several hundred thousand dollars.

Here is a really nice Superbird. Odd that more people were not looking at it. Guess this crowd is jaded.

Something different

You don't see these much. A Plymouth Barracuda with the "Mod" option, a bizarre floral print on the seats and matching on the top. I like it!

Scott...

It is there tomorrow too, and they actually expect MORE cars. Woodley Park in Van Nuys.

In the meantime....

The mighty Chrysler 300F from 1960.

Ram Air Induction, 4 bucket seats, front seats swivel.

1969 Dodge Charger Daytona

Exceedingly rare, worth big dollars. Oddly parked in the ragged lawn area in the used parts section between a main walkway and trailers. Would you park such a car there?

More colorful fun....

Here is the car that is worth the most at the whole place. The only thing keeping it from being a $2 million dollar car is the fact that it's a coupe and not a convertible.

Mopar prices have gone from crazy to certifiably insane.

1971 Plymouth Hemi 'Cuda.

Very cool pictures! Thanks Kevin I might just go have a look tomorrow. I know right where that is.
