OOOOOOH!

From what year is that ad? I have all of those, excepting the Toast-R-Oven! I'd love to round out the collection and frame a copy of that ad.

I'll bet Santa is good to you.

Merry Christmas to Me....... :P

I bought my fourth percolator from the Goodwill in the rich section of the county just a few days ago.  I was going to give it to a friend, but when I read CANADIAN GENERAL ELECTRIC COMPANY LIMITED / BARRIE ONTARIO CANADA printed on the bottom, I decided to give her another one. Mine has a Deco looking Bakelite base, a Bakelite control bezel, and a gold anodized basket assembly. Otherwise, it's identical to the one in the pic. I've got mama's steam and dry iron, and two older waffle irons in my stash. I'll get a pic of the Canadian coffee maker when I find the cord for the camera.

1956

From "Household" magazine December 1956. Found it in a box from the
attic last night while searching for one of Mom's recipes. I did find the recipe in the box!
It's for a steamed raisin pudding served with a caramel sauce that
she would make for Christmas dinner when we were kids. She's 90 now and
couldn't remember what happened to the recipe or how to make it so I'm
happy that it was found. Off to the store to get some raisins today!

The pot belly GE perc was manufactured for thru the mid 50's into the 60's and then re-issued again in the late 80's or was it the late 90's for a short period as a retro product but "cheapened" substantially , they feel tinny in comparison but look identical.

Still have my moms original here and it still works along with the matching two slice toaster.

Those triple whip mixers are cool and hard to find other than on ebay occasionally.
