Where do you guys find those beautiful boxes of antique laundry detergent?

I think Robert (Unimatic1140) finds them on eBay. I'm always amazed the vintage detergents still work after sitting around for 30 years!
Yes, estate sales.
I was at an estate sale a couple of weeks ago where deceased (I believe) owned an old hardware store. In their garage were quite a few NOS boxes of detergent - some of which I bought. Got NOS boxes of PUNCH and BURST which is kinda fun. Also got a NOS Sunbeam Jewel iron which was great.

Gary- not much around here in the damp Northeast. Only on a rare occasion have I found any powdered laundry detergent at a Connecticut estate sale. When I did, it was usually solid as a brick......
also no vintage detergents down here in the humid South.

And on occasion the odd store with old stock. Stores in small towns and or those that have not changed hands much are also good sources.
Ebay can be a mine field. Some boxes go for pennies, others of the same go for a small fortune. Case in point, someone was bidding up vintage boxes of Gain for $$, but there were others to be had for less than $5. Gave $4 for my box of Fels Instant Detergent, but have seen the same "jumbo" box for much more.
Just keep your eyes open, you will find sooner or later.

What I'm really wanting is old Dash, Salvo and Vim. You guys are so smart, OF COURSE they'll be more likely found in the dry Southwestern part of the country!
