They usually do. My neighbor got a Sub-Zero SXS when they built their new house in '85. She said they were always having to have it worked on; much more so than their old GE bottom-freezer bought in '64. She had the same to say about the Jenn-Air oven, which was much more troublesome than the GE P*7 built-in oven they got in '66. They wished they'd got GE for the new house.
