Two easy recipes I have from a friend, have used them for years, love them for Summer use, can be made in a crockpot and simmered all day without getting the kitchen hot....or for any picnic/party.....something quick with least amount of mess

I like this on kaiser rolls that have been buttered and grilled......for a kick, 2 slices of bread, two slices of cheese, and put any one of these in the middle and grill until hot and melted....

First one.....of course the plain ole sloppy joe, but from scratch as stuff you have around the kitchen rather than a can of manwich....but you can add or change anything to your liking....

1 large onion and 1 1/2lbs of ground beef......fry until browned...and drain
1 jar of Heinz chili sauce, or 1/4 cup chili powder
3 tblsp ketchup
2 tblsp yelow mustard
2 tblsp applecider vinegar
3 tblsp white sugar
chopped red and green pepper(optional)
mushrooms(optional)
combine and simmer in fry pan for 20 minutes....or simmer in crockpot on low.....

Second one..........Beef BBQ
beef sliced from a roast, or deli sliced beef works....about 1 1/2lb
1/4 cup oil
1-1/2 cups ketchup
5 tbls sugar
1 tblsp yellow mustard
1 cup chopped onion
1 cup water
11-1/2 drops of worcester sauce
1 tblsp lemon juice...fresh preferred

heat everything to a simmer for about 15 minutes.....or in the crockpot all day on low....serve on rolls

add in potato salad and chips.....and you have a quick meal

I like to add variables for changes.....use your own imagination for things you like....

Enjoy!

Sounds Yummy

However in the South BBQ is a verb and in the North BBQ is a noun.  We BBQ everything here.

Joe should just know better......

Hmmmm!....let's see.....as a noun....that would be a person, place, or thing....

OK....try this....

JOE....in the backyard.....grilling his weiner!....

that about covers it...a person, a place, and his thing!

this is like "SUE"....is that a noun, or a verb?
