It was in a smaller house. Pretty much pawed thru but I found this on the counter under a towel. I thought it looked pretty neat and got it for a song. I did some preliminary cleanup and tried it out. Works pretty good. I love the glass bowl. Does anyone have an idea on how old this is? The number stamped on the side is: N726682

The lady at the sale said her mother baked up a ton and she remembers this mixer always in use. One would think that such memories would encourage her to keep it but I guess you can only keep so much...

PS-After all these years you might want to open up the front and clean/lube the gears.

Also, there are websites with service instructions. As I recall, I used Google or links provided by other members here to find them.

Lastly, would you be willing to scan that owner's manual and upload it here? Mine came with a large bowl, small bowl, and the juicer attachment, but no manual...

Model 7 or 9

That will be a really nice Mixmaster after a little cleaning. The decal is still in good shape. The Model 7 was introduced 4/41, discontinued for the duration of the war, and available again in 1946. The Model 9 came out 8/48 and ran until 1950. This would be an early Model 9, as the decal style was changed during this model run. My Mom had this style mixer; she got it from my Dad's Uncle after his Aunt passed away. Unfortunately she sold it at a yard sale after I bought her a new Sears mixer for Christmas. Pics available on the link.

According to the base, this is a model 7B.

Rich, I scanned and am posting the manual in a separate thread. Talk about a lot of info. Includes lubing info. I had no idea there were SO many attachments!
