I called up one of the appliance places around here asking about older machines he referred me to the place I visited-was out in Chocowinity NC,about 25 min from my house-and what a place it is-several jukeboxes-put a reserve on a couple-LOTS and LOTS of cool metal signs-old books and records,CD's.I bought 50 pipe organ CD's from him for only a buck each-love this-instant organ music collection-and many famous theater organs and organists-Lin Larsen,chris Elliout,etc.Found two hand mixers-Sunbeam Mixmaster Junior,and a Dormeyer Dormee.Both work well.Cleaned up nicely-used the Sunbeam to mash my potatoes.Also found an old-1950 Belknap Hardware catalog-what a reference book-and lots of interesting things and machines from the year before I was born.-"Zenith" wringer washers,"Blue Grass" tools and lawn mowers.GE radios and record players.BD and Skil power tools-so cool!Was looking thru the book a few hours one night.He mentioned that he runs into old vacuums and washwers from time to time-he didn't have any this time-but to stop by and check with him.Will do.also he has several of those nickel or penny scales that weigh you and give you a fortune prediction.and one still in the crate!
