Cool! The DD Whirlpool looks clean on the interior. If I might make a suggestion: Grab a few paper towels and Windex and clean off the outside of the washer and dishwasher to make them look like new again. I do that with my washer and dishwasher periodically and it's worth the time.

I know you think the Kenmore DW is yukky, but any D&M-designed dishwasher is neat, IMHO. Btw, yours is from the late 1970's.

There'll be a month and year on the model tag on the right side of the tub near the door seal.

Strange, every D & M made machine I've seen has the year and month in numerical format i.e., 8-74, on that tag.
