Tap cold water temperature as of Monday, 10/8/07

I held the instant read thermometer in several faucets and fill flumes to obtain readings and in every case, the water's temperature on Monday was down to 81 degrees. The weather is turning chilly and the sun is riding lower in the sky than a very soaked diaper on a two year old's butt, so the warming effect on the land is greatly diminished from what it was in early summer. It usually takes a few months to hit rock bottom, but the water temperature is on the down hill slide.

The Kenmore Oasis has a "Cool" setting which will let in some warm water to keep from washing in freezin-ass cold water. BRR.

As for the old machines, WARM will do.

It done got chilly here in Tennessee so the AC is off and the heat pump is on.
