Hello all I'm Hass or known as Hassney, this is my first ever post to this fabulous website. As you can tell I'm a "newbie" and I wanted to say Hello to you all, also to say thank you all for entertaining me over the years. I've just had the courage to become a member.
I've loved anything to do with Washing Machine's or Laundry since a very young age and I blame my mother for this lol. Though not a collector yet, I would love to do this in the near future. Though really I don't know where to start, hopefully maybe some of you guys can guide me through this.
Also just to let you know I have made a youtube page recently called THE LAUNDRY LAB. I've decided to make this page because I found it rather annoying having to search your favourite advert or adverts you completely forgot about and I wanted to create a page, where you can access the historic adverts in one place and I feel nothing like this has been done before.
The Laundry Lab contains UK/British adverts on detergents, fabric conditioners, washing machines/dryers and so on, starting from the 1950s onwards...
The Laundry Lab youtube page is however not complete yet, as I hope to upload more video's very soon and hopefully build up the history collection as we go on.
That shall be all for now... but if any of you guys would like to know more about me feel free to check out www.myspace.com/hassney or www.youtube.com/hassney
I hope to see some of you on The Laundry Lab.
Take Care
