Time to practice your German!

The new models are the W1000 and the W4000 series. To view them click on "Hausgeräte" in the left menu. At the bottom of the page is the laundry equipment (Wäschepflege). Click on "Waschvollautomaten/Frontlader" to view all series.

There are also matching dryers, the T7000 and the T9000 series. You will find them under "Wäschetrockner". Not to confuse with "Waschtrockner" wich are the Miele combo's.

the chrome ones are alright, but i dont really like the ones on the 1000 range!

Interesting range, biggest & most diverse I`ve seen from them..

Novitronic W1 series..what the heck are those doors made of, looks like rubber I`m assuming it will be satin...Uugghh..

The best for me is the Softtronic W4 Series the W4166 looks great, streamlined circles within square panels....

The TOL Liquid wash just doesnt do it with all those buttons, I love the flexibility of the asko computer but any more than that looks like a 747-200 control panel!!

I also think their integrated W2839i in silver is the bees knees with a dark silver/grey or black door..

I love those machines! Thinking of upgrading my 2652 in the near future to a W4449 Liquidwash, if they will become available in the UK. I absolutely love the new generation of Miele washers - traditional, retro design, yet modern at the same time and very stylish, and still doesn't scream out plastic like so many of the other modern washer designs out there nowadays.

Wich I can conclude with my knowledge of german, the machines have the normal capacity wich is from 5 to 6kg (or about 10 to 13 pounds). Maybe they make special bigger models for american market. The rest looks simular to the "normal" washers.

The new models are exactly the same size as the older 5kg models like the W1903 and the W1918. It's looks bigger on that picture than it really is.

Louis - don't forget though that the new Miele washers have a 6 kilo drum and a larger door opening than the 1903 and 1918 . (And look far more trendy too ).
