"'Fabulous, Retro, Designer Series' = bend over pricing."

The pricing may or may not be high, depending on the condition of the item, but I can't see the condition of the item in photos that look like the U.S. Postal Service is doing a commemorative stamp about early self-cleaning ranges.

Someone is hoping that this will finance more of the kitchen remodel than it actually will. If they cared about performance, they would keep the range and play up the turquoise as a tropical color, but they are young know-nothings and Florida is known for this sort of mental acuity which is why they have the government they do.

That's what I thought, the seller shouldn't lie about it just to sell his range.

I always felt this was a nice space-saving size as it still allows a good sized oven and rangetop, unlike a 24" wide unit, but it's usefully smaller than a 30" wide unit. Kitchen cabinets traditionally come in 3" increments so it works with that. However, if I was redoing a kitchen I'd get rid of it too as to my knowledge nobody today makes anything in this size so if it breaks you'd be stuck trying to fix it or find another 40+ year old range. Great for the enthusiast but not most people.
