The washer gods are teasing me

Through Craigslist!! First it was a Wards Signature (Norge w/Burpalator) in Houston...sold. Then appeared an SQ pair from the 1970's (washer had a side-opening lid...solid-tub machine) in Dallas...told seller I was EXTREMELY interested but apparently someone showed up at their front door with $50 before I even had a chance to visit...gone! Both machines were in great shape too...OY!!

Now they're teasing me with another machine, common brand, but this style not usually seen in Texas. I'm keeping my fingers crossed...hopefully the pain and anguish will end!

Finding the machines of your dreams is easy, but it does take time. Be patient, take my word for it, for every one that gets away, the "golden" machine is out there and waiting just for you.
