Explosions

Another fun and dangerous pastime is putting canned food in a campfire.
It takes 2 to five minutes, depending on can and contents, but it will explode, with a boom, sending the can off like a rocket and the contents blowing everywhere.
Loudest bang comes from refried beans and most impressive explosion from canned milk with the rounded bottom.
We blew an entire fire about 30 feet. Nothing was left in the firepit and we were running around the pasture putting out mini fires.

I am sure I read something about Corvairas catching fire in rear end collisions.
Wouldn't a vacuum be a cheaper toy?
