Thor Goes To The Hospital

The Thor would spin but not pick up speed. Dr. Manny says it could be the belt or maybe it needs thinner transmission oil...
so off to his shop...(the hospital)

Thor on it's way to the hospital. Dr. Manny assured me that the Thor will be back in time for Tucson Wash In coming up in March.

I love the landscape in the background, that bare, rugged terrain, looks really cool .............. I assume you get the most rain all year between JUL and SEP ? correct ? My aunt and uncle live in sierra vista/ft. huachuca, 70mi SE of Tucson and they said they got T-storms mainly almost every day in mid-jul thru mid-sep

Diagnosis Of Thor

Dr. Manny called with diagnosis. He took machine apart....it is the clutch but he said it can be fixed.

I'm glad to hear that the Thor is in Dr. Manny's capable hands!! Can't wait to check it out in Tucson. I've never seen one in operation before!! Maybe we'll get lucky and find the dishwasher insert in time for the gathering!

Hi Bob....yes, Dr. Manny gives me visitation rights....when I go to the shop, I also chat with his wife letty (Leticia) who runs the office. I call her Dr. Letty....she is the anasthesiologist and keeps the machines "comfortable"

MickeyD...yes, it is pleasant to walk or bike around the desert area here.

I went to the shop today. Thor was taken apart. Manny showed me the clutch plates that were broken and he is going to make new ones. Machine resting peacefully at Dr. Manny's Hospital.
