Out of those possibilities, we've only been able to eliminate the circuit breaker and the plug. Those are good.
They're calling the tech tomorrow. (Monday) I had hoped they would call him right away when it quit, and at least get on his list. Maybe he could have given them an appointment for Monday. Oh well.

Problem solved

The service tech came today.
John; your first possible problem was the one. Door switch.
He also told them that they have an excellent washer, and showed them how to remove and clean the fabric softener dispenser. So, if I ever get to see these machines in person, there should be no excuse for there being a bunch of blue crud in there!

Barry, my partner has the entry-level Admiral-Branded DD washer & dryer he got around 2010 or 2011.  It's probably very similar in features to the washer & dryer you posted.  I've told him it's a terrific washer and it should last him several more years.
