At least as far as I can tell. I only noticed the Original variety available within the past few weeks. Before now, the normal Tide Pods (excluding the Febreze 4-in-1 variety) came in Ocean Mist and Spring Meadow, both of which in my opinion were a bit much.
I decided to give them a try after squeezing the nifty tubs they come in and taking a whiff and almost gasping out loud in the store because they reminded me of the true Tide scent from back when I was growing up. After a few loads, my washer now has the gorgeous nostalgic smell of Tide as it should be. I don't know if this will translate back to the powder and liquid forms, as the Original scent in those versions are the -new- formula, and the true Original was changed to Mountain Spring, which is hard to find in my experience.
Usually being a sole powder user, I've been impressed the last two times I've given them a try. They're adequate for a full load of lightly to normally soiled laundry, and I haven't had any issues with them oversudsing or not dissolving properly.
