Tide's In - Dirt's Out

Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Strange...

The listing describes the detergent as being in liquid form, however the boxes shown indicate that it's a powder instead.

Anyway, I prefer the convenience of Persil pods instead, however $10 for all that detergent is very reasonable.

P&G launched "ultra" Tide in 1990 (or thereabouts) IIRC. There have been many incarnations since but it's difficult to tell which one seller in OP is flogging without seeing entire box.

My favourite incarnation was ultra TWB.

P&G, Lever Bros. and others were on an "ultra" kick starting in 1990's for various reasons. Wisk had "Power Scoop" and so on.

For members with top loading, wringer or even twin tub washers this Tide may be perfectly fine. OTOH persons with front loaders, especially modern versions may have issues with froth, rinsing and overall obtaining a good wash.

Unless the stuff has retained original scent and imparts same to finished laundry personally wouldn't bother. Can find modern detergents that equal or rival this vintage Tide performance wise and have pleasant smell.
