Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

Your Collections is just fabulous

You are so lucky to have Dr. Manny and I am so sad I was not able to attend the convention you hosted you have all of my favorite machines. I do so love the commercial Westinghouse. When I had a free dime to spend I would go to the Laundromat and do an empty wash load just to watch it

Yay for Dr. Manny! One of the many repair heroes who earn a tip-of-the-hat from all of us at AW.

God, I love that little Westy Commercial Laundromat. The laundromat in the town I grew up in had a double row of those and I loved to bike there and stand around watching them.

That seems more odd when I see it in print, LOL!

The maternal unit informs me that as a very young child I liked to drag her into the laundromat to watch the front-loaders tumble.

*SIGH* Apparently we all have a FEW *AHEM* common threads running through us.

Manny does not repair timers but he sends them to a company in Florida that rebuilds them. He used to use Mid-West Timer but he prefers this other place in Florida. These places only deal direct with mechanics, not with the general public.

timer rebuild places

MTS or midwest, there is one woman in particular who is so rude over the phone, I have just one choice word for her. I think the place in FL is in Palm Bay and its called "REECO" timer. I have also used T&E timers in Madison Heights, MI with success. THe "old timer" no pun, hahaha, Tom is retired finally I think. It was a pleasure dealing with him.

Customline sez.....

I've used reeco timer in Palm Bay Florida and they did a wonderful job. Vincent Sr. has been rebuilding timers since 1952 and knows them like the back of his hand.

Hi Kevin. I have had a few timers rebuilt by Recco and so far they are all working fine. Some of the timers rebuilt by Recco were previously rebuilt by Midwest Timer and needed to be rebuilt again.
