IIRC myself may have listed one or more found on fleaPay.
IIRC Chambers brand also sold similar units.
Warming trays or whatever have been around in various incarnations for ages. How else to keep foods warm on a sideboard? *LOL*
For big meals most of my family use sterno racks. *LOL*

My local Woolworths had a similar one to keep rolls warm at the lunch counter. .85 for a turkey dinner, mashed potatoes, veg. and a roll out of the Toastmaster when I was a kid. That was almost 60 years ago, so this thing is old.

I have the exact same one in my kitchen in brushed SS, mine was built in 1962, I found it at a thrift store around 1986 for $40 and installed in the kitchen the next year, It works perfectly, keeps food hot a fresh for hours, you can select either crisp [ for dry heat ] or moist for keeping thing from drying out.
I have often said that this is the best built appliance in my kitchen, you could literately stand on the open drawer and not harm it at all. I also feel that it will never break-down in any way in my lifetime.
These were marked for home use but they were actually the exact same ones that were used in restaurants.
I recommend it to anyone that wants something that really WORKs

Tim, I remember seeing units like this at the local Woolworth's when I was a brat, too! Better still, I got to see one up close and in person at John's. Wonderful units - I kinda think I should have planned one into the Ogden kitchen.
