Question:

Is the special wash n wear care the same series of partial drain and fill followed by a short, fast spin before rinsing that I have seen in the new generation 'Tags post 1967?

Also, if this is the correct vintage, this would be the model with matching dryer that starred in so many television shows: "The Beverly Hillbillies," "Bewitched" with the two sets, one coppertone; "Hazel (coppertone)," and "The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet" with one turquoise set and one same color as TBH in the basement of the fraternity house where in one episode it actually is hooked up and in use - the panel light is lit and one of the frat boys fishes out a wet, soapy pair of pants.

Chris, yes I do believe that this is the same sequence as you described. It's no much difference than the Perm Press cycle on the commercial laundromat fabric matic washers of the 1970s. Lived in a dorm with laundry room in 1974 with the described washer.
