My question is about the attractive lady in today's Kenmore washer and dryer picture.  I keep going back to this picture and

looking at it over and over.  That lady looks familiar.  Is she someone famous or does she just remind me of someone?  Does she look like someone famous to anyone else here?  Maybe my eyes are playing tricks on my today. That is a nice washer and dryer set, BTW. Are they Lady Kenmores?

She was an attractive lady.   I remember watching the reruns of FKB when I was a child.  Haven't seen that show in years - but I knew I had seen that face before!  Thanks

What year are those (the machines)? Somewhere between 1966 and 68 I would guess.

Every time I see that ad I think how impossible it would be to have floor-to-ceiling windows like that behind your appliances and keep them clean. It wouldn't be very attractive from the outside either and you'd need to be very creative with the connections. Of course that was not the idea behind the advertiser...with that kind of laundry room you could "move in."

These are my favorite LKMs from the late 1960s, I have the avocado dryer [ now gas thanks to Kevin in Long Beach ] and would love to find the avocado washer to match.
