Scottissue/Costco

The pastel colors of Scottissue (green, blue, & pink )are not available at all stores, so i get them when i can; but i also like costco brand, so i alternate between them.

You know, variety!!!

Whatever is cheapest in the 3 ply form. I swear my work uses waxy 1/2 ply toilet paper. I fight back by using 1/2 the roll and fold it 4 times for each wipe, lol.

my two cents

At home I use Charmin nice and soft. At work they use the recycled toilet paper. I can't remember what brand, but I don't like it. Its not that thick so have to use more than double of a regular roll and its also rough.

Loo Roll.....

such a lovely topic really.....

BUTT, we tend to use Aldi toilet tissue. It's quite soft and even though not 'THICK' as some expensive tissue, I've never had a 'breakthrough'. Now given it is 12 rolls for $3.99, it's also very good value.

Now the gasps from the British guys but we use either Tesco / Asda or sainsburys basic range. £1.20 approx for 12 rolls.

Works fine...it still wipes ya bum!

We used to use Charmin, but our neighbor had to have their drain roto rootered and the service guy told them to quit using Charmin. Gobs and gobs of it had plugged their pipes up. He's seen this many times before.

So we switched to Angel Soft. Seems to work fine.

I hate the TP you usually see in airports. Those tiny little scraps of paper that are dispensed one by one. Or the rolls you have which fall apart in your hands before you can "apply" it.

Scott tissue in colors!

I have called the Scott tissue people, and no one in Washington State carries Scott in colors. K-Mart did for about a year in 2007 -2008, but they stopped. When I asked them about it, they said it was no longer made. I have tried to get retailers to order it for me, but they all say it is no longer made. Not according to Scott Tissue! Would any of you out there be willing to send me some if I paid you for your time and shipping, etc.? I don't know what the hell is wrong with Washington State, but it's ridiculous!!!!!!!!!!

But I LIKE the stuff...

My father used to call Scott toilet paper "SKATA paper"- (s**t-paper). Take it as you may.

There was an interesting supermarket near the Neptune diner (well-known "landmark" in Astoria Queens). By the end of the Grand Central Parkway @ the foot of the Tri-borough bridge (now RFK Bridge) and under the "el".

SCATUROS- (is there supposed to be a double consonant in there?) In the Greek ghetto. OH MY! We used to say their motto/slogan was "No.2 & No.1 all wrapped up in one!" It was such a faux-pas my cousin who was 7 y.o. at the time was appalled and laughing at the same time.
