Turquoise Americana & Frigidaire Refrigerator - Akron, OH

Not sure what the seller is expecting in terms of offers, but one may be pleasantly surprised.  

 

But what a pair.... looks like an early version of the Americana range (pre-P7, alas) but that refrigerator looks Custom Imperial-ish, perhaps the 1960 model?

 

I need a truck.. LOL

Do those non-self cleaning ovens have an advantage over the P7's ? I always thought (here goes a dumb question, maybe?)..that the more desirable of the GE's are the P7's because it's easier. Would it be otherwise, and the self-cleaning is harsh on parts; i.e.; "tear up" ??

Self-cleaning does take its toll on oven racks in particular.  However 15 years in abandoned house will be pretty rough as well, as my '62 Flair "oven wrecks" will attest!!

Worse for wear and tear

Thanks Paul/Hans. Both self and non-self cleaning ovens have passed through these hands, but I've not been in one place long enough to know about self-cleaning wear/tear impact.

Another 1960 refrigerator, someday I'll have to get one!
