I love these!!!

I call them BIG BUTTON Hotpoints, for some resaon they never show up here and thats odd because many older hotpoints do, these were from the early 60s.

that is beyond cool Cory

....how has the stove been treating you? I still need to remodel my kitchen and put this to good use!

RE Hotpoint

My Aunt Mabel had one of these that was a double oven 40 inch,, She also had a Varmeriner dog named Porsha, well, one morning Aunt Georgie..,her and my Dads younger sister ,came to visit,Aunt Mabel was telling Aunt Georgie that Porsha had learned to turn the light on in the oven,,,"Aunt Mabel put leftovers in the oven I guess to keep flies off of them...As if a fly would DARE get into her house because she cleaned constantly..Anyhow, Aunt Georgie said "you are a damn liar!!" to which Aunt Mable said, "Watch this!" she then went to the basement door, opened it and let Porsha in, she went straight to the stove, flipped the light switch with her nose, then looked in and barked...!! Aunt Georgie said"Well ill be DAMNED!! My Dads family was interesting to say the least!Aunt Mabel's stove came from Duke Power Company. As Did Aunt Georgies that her Mother, My Grandmother bought in 63, same basic stove except infinite heat controls, single oven and clustered top.

Wonderful HP ranges

Does anyone remember the Pepto Bismol pink HP 30" range seen here a few months ago? It did not have the inlays around the controls and the control panel was an overload of pink. These TOL ranges look so much better with the metalic inlays around the controls. They all even have the Supermatic unit, although the top one does not seem to have the meat thermomoter or the lighted buttons.

Agitatorboogie, I'll let you know how it pans out once I get it connected. I'm putting in a kitchen in my new "lab" and that building has yet to get a 200A service. Gotta wait for the ground to thaw before I lay the cable.

Rob, I agree with you, these Hotpoints have a styling all their own! -Cory
