Turquoise Frigidaire for Sarah Perdue's Mid-Century Kitchen

This sold on eBay two days before I got the turquoise GE wall fridge. I was trying not to be heartbroken and remind myself that so far, every appliance that got away ended up being replaced by something better.

Just in case...I sent the seller a message and told her that if her buyer fell through, I wanted to buy it.

And her buyer did. So, I'm considering this a sign that I am meant to have this oven.

It's in Albemarle, North Carolina. I'm not quite sure how I'm going to get it, but I'm SO VERY EXCITED!!!!

Wow, congratualtions, Sarah! That is one beautiful Frigidaire double oven. Don't know that I've seen that model before.

Sarah: You guessed correctly; the “refrigerator” photo was a prank. Looking at your beautiful oven, it struck me that if one removed the upper control panel it looked just like a French-door refrigerator. So I removed the control panel, LOL.

I, like many others in the ragtag AW family, wish you excellent kitchen remodeling karma. Looking forward to watching the transformational progress. You rock.

Got them!

We loaded the ovens up this morning and are headed back to Alabama. There was damage the seller did not include in the listing, and she was really angry and aggressive when I asked her about it. Kind of a sour note, but I’m still delighted to have the ovens.
