Im thinking 1956 because of the automatic griddle outlet. But where are the two knobs that my 56 has on the center right of the back splash by the roasting guide/thermometer? And the funny looking black knob (if it is a knob) on the left? Maybe a lower model?

I think that the single oven models did not have the extra knobs on the roasting guide, they were able to have all of their controls on the main panel... with two ovens, both oven controls were on the main panel, but I recall that the automatic burner and maybe the panel light control were placed on the roast guide.

funny looking knob

Is definitely a replacement, it looks like a knob from a GE stove from the 1960s. It is not uncommon to see replacement knobs, on the cadet blue range that I just posted in another thread, the same knob had been replaced (and since the photo was taken I have thankfully found a correct knob!).

thread 50408

Same stove but she's Purdy in PANK! Has all her knobs but she has a chip in the paint right above the oven door on the cooktop. going for 250 in Lansing

That turquoise though sure is bright and shiny!

Which will be the first to go?
