Went to a class last week 3.5 hours from home and I was searching the local sites for possible vintage washers and this popped up and I couldn’t resist bringing it home. It’s in non working condition but cosmetically its in pretty good shape.
Thanks. I’m hoping for a simple fix as well. I haven’t had any time to tinker with it since I brought it home. I have an early sixties Ge double oven in turquoise as well. I just really like the 60’s and 70’s appliances. Maybe one day I’ll put them in the kitchen.
When you do the repairs, please share the process and findings here. My fridge repairs have been quite well received here and on the other forums where shared. There aren't enough people who appreciate these appliances and try to repair them. There are more sob stories than successes. Every time a proficient technician gets one and goes through it and solves the problems, it's really valuable to our antiques community.
