at my local pamida,they recently started to offer full size haier fridges in
addition to the usuall mini fridges-unlike the smaller haier fridges these are
marked"made in USA"and they do not look asian,the one i looked at even had an
american cord.I tried to peek in the grille in the back to see what brand of
compressor was used-couldn't tell the brand of compressor,but did notice it had a
fan-forced bottom mounted condenser.Among my mini fridges are two haier mini
fridges;smaller one,2003,has an LG compressor and back mounted convection condense
The larger one,2006,has a chinese compressor with a brand about 20 letters long
and cabinet wall condensers in each side.The larger one is in DD use and though it
has worked fine,i can sometimes feel a cold spot on the door-indicating the door
insulation may be spotty...
