UK - Help finding an English Electric “Biglino” motor

In the 1970s, English Electric used a newly-patented, single phase induction motor on at least some of their washing machines that they branded as a “Biglino” motor. It had a unique, square/cubic shape and the ability to run at different speeds due to the arrangement of its windings. I would love to track down one of them. Any suggestions for where I might be able to find one in the UK? Ideas welcome! Thanks.

Hi Gcompass,

I English Electric used this style of motor in their Reversomatic range, which dates from the mid-60’s through to the early 70’s.
I believe is one in a friends EE washer. Good luck hope you can track one down.
