Darren, you have enough washers now for you to ‘race’ them! ;-) LOL Can we bet on them? My money’s on either the Hottie or the Hoover winning in a race on a standard cottons or synthetics cycle! LOL ;-)

I’m not sure how you have them all plumbed in – maybe only one at at time – but it would be great if they could all be plumbed in at the same time and running at the same time! Imagine the noise! Well, the Zanussi would be purring away, but the others… LOL!

I was wondering if your machines would be pressed into regular service in light of the fact that your parents’ AEG is broken. Which machine is the temporary ‘replacement’, or do they take turns? ;-) Does your Mum know how to use them, or do you strictly forbid her to even breathe on them because of what she did to the AEG? ;-)

Hope you get your AEG sorted quickly. Your washers are not for family use – they’re for playing with. ;-) hehe

Of the three machines...

...the Hoover "New Wave" looks the most elegant, with its sophisticated sweeping curves.

The 'functional' design of the Hotpoints always put me off them (too bland looking).

I always wondered why manufacturers never provided more cycle information during the wash. Thanks to yourself, I now know they did (at least once upon a time!).

There are 2 switches for this machine- if its a single pole switch with 2 terminals you need 09090010, if its double pole with 6 terminals its 09074857- both should set you back somewhere around £8-£9 ish

I run them using Y piece connectors and extendable drainhoses atm! can only run two at a time until i buy some more Y pieces lol.

The temporary replacement was the Hotpoint, mum was familiar with that because of our old hotpoint!

Rolls, have to agree the sweeping curves and overall style of the newwave is exceptionally elegant, i dont think it looks out of place in a modern kitchen.

Seamus-Thanks for letting me know which switches i need, i hadnt got round to it as the tape has been doing its job!

Hi Darren, that is quite a nice Hotpoint. I enjoyed your vid's. We have very similar AEG's I see, I have the 74620. Tell me, does your Servis Quartz have the solid stainless tub (I think they call it Spin Care)? I would love to see one of those machines in a video.

Hi Darren, I found them, they're great. Do you think you could take a picture of your Servis Quartz drum for me? That would be fantastic if you would. I've never seen a solid tub front loader before, it amazes me.

That's a nice tub, too bad they don't produce these anymore. You're very lucky to own one! It's a good looking machine. You would think more manufacturers would jump on the solid tub bandwagon especially in light of Miele's honeycomb® drum which has so few perforations. I hear Miele has the patent on that until 2017, but this is equally gentle on fabrics esp for the high speed spins.
