One of my all time favourite playwrights, Wendy Wasserstein, who wrote Uncommon Women and Others, The Heidi Chronicles, and An American Daughter died today at 55.
She had cancer.
I am very sad. She was a smart, funny, deeply perceptive woman.
Her daughter, Lily Jane, is around 7.
In her book of essays, Shiksa Goddess, she mentioned her Viking stove and Sub-Zero fridge.
I miss her already.
I am going to try to put in the MSNBC/Reuters link.
I hope it works. Please do not blame me much, if the link returns to "BillyBen's Taxidermy Hut." I am far from adept with this intarnet stuff.
