Valuation of non-operational 1950s GE Combo Wall Fridge

Hi again!

I recently posted a separate thread attempting to get more info on how we could fix our 1950s GE combination wall fridge. To our dismay, it seems it may be more complicated than we can look into ourselves and I’ve been completely unable to find anyone in the area with experience in maintaining something this old.

In any case, I’m wondering where I can start regarding valuation of this fridge if/when we ultimately try to sell it in favor of a kitchen renovation.

I’ve seen listings for these refrigerators with prices that were all over the place (from $500 to $4000) so it’s hard to tell where they usually land. Ours does not work, so I assume price would be less.

for non-working i'd say...

$ 250 very nice condition
100 if all complete,but needs a good scrubbing/finish touch up,etc.
50 if any missing trim or parts or cabinet needs restored

Have you considered shipping it to a repair shop who are confident they can repair it for you?

I’d love to be able to send it to someone, although not sure we can realistically manage the time and cost of doing so, I also haven’t found anyone that can do the work.

I’m slowly realizing we just need to move on without it
