I think the answer is "No."

 

This machine has identical buttons and basically the same exterior as the D&M Kenmores of that vintage.

Actually these performed better than the comparable Kenmore because the Hot Water Scrub cycle was actualy temp-delayed water heat while water circulated main wash and helped tremendously. 150 degree sani wash was simply the final rinse heated to that where as the other button did heat the main wash to that too.

For D&M to label the Caloric button "warm dry" is misleading if it was anything like the Kenmore model that was labeled "hot dry" an extremely accurate description.

What's the difference between 'full wash no heat' and 'full wash cool dry'?

The first is no water heating while the second is no drying.

Are these any good?

NO!  YUCK!  They are poorly built, noisy and prone to rusting out and leaking.   The water that dosen't leak out has to be sucked out with a turkey baster when the damn thing dosen't drain.   My folks had a 75 Caloric and it was a complete trainwreck.   The only good thing about these clunkers is that they can be torn out and replaced with a usefull DW.
