Oh, I really like the first machine with the brown fascia and steel door! It looks very well made!

My Aunty replaced her L8 with a 2097, it was a great machine and lasted years, she replaced it with a Hotpoint T/L when the seal got indesit sticky rubber rot.

<p>Nice, one of my friends from infant school had the washer with 3 dials, never got to see it on though, but it was at the end of the kitchen next to the dining table... always got to sit next to it when having our tea!

I haven't seen a pure Generation 2000 machine on ebay in quite a while now:-(

Good machines, but seems that they are a tad rare these days. Thinking about it, I can't think of anyone that has one of these machines preserved in the UK.
