it's cool to see the ad for the speed queen supertwin twin tub washer and see how much these twin tub washers costed when they were brand new. i have always wondered how much the price was for the twin tub washers when they were new.

Well, $189 brand new. That's a 73 ad, my SQ is 74, but's it's the same 2 knob, one speed, porcelain tub low end unit. I paid $125 for mine when it was 39 years old!!!!
And it works perfectly and is tons of fun, so what the heck, no regrets.
