I am here only to state that I'm in no way ready to accept that 1987 is considered vintage, LOL! Oh, to be a kid of 28, again...

Laundry Related Memories of 1987
I was a wild *** of a student at Iowa State. Of course I am now a Hawkeye fan. The laundromat in Friley Hall had all Maytag washers and dryers. Even took advantage of a dryer that somehow operated without putting coins into it. I used powdered forms of Tide, Bold 3, Dash, Cheer, Oxydol, Surf, and even found two boxes of Rinso at the store. Also used Clorox 2, Biz, and Axion. Also used liquid forms of Tide, Bold 3, Era, and Wisk. Of course, I also used Downy and Snuggle. Even in 1987, those laundry products smelled so much better than they do now. After dropping out of ISU, I moved to Cedar Rapids. In my apartment building at that time, we had four coin-op GE washers and 2 of these double load dryers, but I do not know what brand. I had a roommate who was an Amway fanatic and eventually convinced me to start using SA8 and other related and nonrelated Amway products. Eventually, I became an Amway distributor till a couple of years ago when I decided to drop out completely. So now am back to all those store brands, along with all, Gain, Ajax, and Final Touch. Since when is 1987 vintage? Was that at the same time Motley Crue became Classic Rock?
