Vintage East German washing machines in Australia

Hey guys, I found these currently and the seller has about five of them, I’m wanting someone to get them for adding it to a collection because they’re hard to find and probably have a bit of collective value

The photo of the perobot is an example image but they have those, and the photo of the plant sticking out of the washing machine is one of their own

Saw these a while back

What info is there about them?
I’d be intrigued to know more. I live in Melbourne so I could pick one up, but space is pretty limited at the moment.

So the oblong shaped ones are made in Czechoslovakia

They’re really easy to work on, while the square German ones those are made in the GDR. They’ve just got a motor and a heater in them and a Hoover style wash plate at the bottom.

Hmmm,

I’ll ask about them. I’ve really got only room for one more machine, that’s for a Neptune with a touch screen that I’m keeping my eyes out for.

Did they actually sell these in Australia (doubtless to gain hard currency) or are these just one-offs?
