Working vintage Frigidaire refrigerator maybe circa 1925

<span style="font-family: 'courier new', courier;">A friend of mine lives in Kentucky and he sent me a link to an Old Home in his neighborhood that is up for auction.  The kitchen has a working vintage Frigidaire refrigerator.  Look at how this thing is set up.  Was this common?  He opened the door and said it was cold inside.</span>
