Morning, all!
I was lucky enough to find a vintage blue GE cooktop for my 1958 ranch--the previous owners had replaced the original with a nasty Kenmore.
All looks good and has been hooked up safely, but this is one of my burners on 'HI." Dumb question: Is it going/gone bad? Are the darker areas bad enough to replace the whole thing? I'm crossing my fingers GE still makes the proper replacements. Amazingly, on "HI" it still heats a pot of water faster than anything modern I've used.
What would you do??
Many thanks...
